How do I Join

To join U S Federal Credit Union, we require that a member lives, works, worships, or attends school in Lake or Porter County, Indiana.

Our membership also welcomes local businesses and other legal entities located in Lake or Porter County, Indiana. We have this requirement in place because our credit union is chartered to Lake and Porter County only.

All members are also required to have a savings account with U S Federal Credit Union and it takes only $5 to open the account. We ask that you keep a minimum of $50 in the account at the end of every month to avoid a small fee and stay in good standing with the credit union. $5 is all it takes to become a member and take advantage of the great products and services that U S Federal Credit Union offers!
