Skip A Pay

Gain flexibility and add extra money to your monthly budget by deferring your loan payment. Our Skip-A-Pay option let's you skip one (1) loan payments within a (12) month period to free-up cash to spend however you like. For a nominal processing fee, you can relax and be payment free whenever you need it most...like the holidays, summer vacation, back-to-school or any other time. Best of all, Skip-A-Pay let's you skip a loan payment without impacting your credit score.

To take advantage of our Skip-A-Pay option, download the Skip-A-Pay Request Form (PDF). Complete the form and and return it to U S Federal Credit Union with your $30.00 processing fee. The form and payment may be mailed to U S Federal Credit Union, Attn: Loan Department, 8400 Broadway, Merrillville, IN 46410 or dropped off at any U S Federal Credit Union branch. If you choose to have the processing fee deducted from your savings or checking account, you may also fax the form to 219-769-0743.

The Skip-A-Payment option is available on vehicle, motorcycle and recreational vehicle loans. A $30.00 processing fee is charged per loan. Request form and applicable fee(s) must be received before your loan payment is due.

Loan must be open for minimum 6 months before Skip-a-Payment can be processed.
